What I store, plainly

If you never sign in

Toybox progress, drawings, sprites, personal bests, timer preferences and the prism hunt all live in your own browser storage. Clearing your browser data clears them, and I never see any of it.

When you ask Aiden something

Aiden sends the words in your question to the public reference service needed to answer it: Wikipedia, Wikidata, or the Free Dictionary API. Modest Pariah does not keep those questions, and Aiden's short conversation history stays in this browser tab. Those reference services receive the request directly and apply their own privacy policies.

If you make an account

An account exists for one reason: carrying small Toybox saves between your devices. It stores your email address (handled by the authentication service), a display name if you give me one, and these saves:

Big things stay put: paintings, pixel sprites and anything else heavy remain in your browser only. Your rows are readable and writable only by you.

No tracking, no selling

There are no advertising trackers, no analytics profiles built about you, and nothing is sold. Apart from Aiden's reference lookups described above, the site does not share your activity. It does collect anonymous reports when a browser blocks something it shouldn't, which helps me keep the security rules honest.

Leaving

You can sign out, switch syncing off, wipe what the account holds, or delete the account entirely from your account settings. Deleting removes the account and its saves for good — your browser keeps its own copy either way.
